Skype Enters Social TV Race, But Falls Short
One of the more killer social TV apps that has yet to be executed well is integrated video chat on your big screen TV, integrated with the programming you're currently watching. Watch the game with your buddies all around the country, as if they were sitting next to you.
Seems like a no brainer, but no one -- not the TV manufacturers, cable co's, set top box manufacturers, boxee, etc -- has actually pulled it off yet. Skype is taking a first step toward this vision.
